About

I am a New York-based freelance journalist, producer, and creative whose work explores culture, entertainment, and lifestyle. I have been published in BuzzFeed and Yahoo Life, where I write shopping and lifestyle content, and The Knockturnal, where I cover cultural events, film, and television. My work spans reported features, interviews, service journalism, and editorial storytelling.

I am currently completing a master’s degree at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where I am concentrating in Arts and Culture and will graduate in December 2026. As an Ida B. Wells Scholar, I am especially interested in journalism that centers communities and expands whose stories are told and how they are told.

Beyond writing, I have experience in creative production, project management, events, partnerships, and digital media. I enjoy working across formats and collaborating with artists, creatives, brands, and cultural organizations to develop stories authentically.

I also serve as Vice President of Digital for the New York Association of Black Journalists, where I contribute to the organization’s digital presence and programming. I speak four languages and was the recipient of the Alfred Lacuzzi Award in Romance Languages at Baruch College.

When I'm not working, you can find me monitoring Google Flight alerts, catching a movie at AMC Lincoln Square 13, or at brunch with my girlfriends.
